Return and claims Policy

         RETURNS- All books are examined before supplies are made. Books may only be returned 

1. –If there is some printing or binding defect. In such cases the customer is supposed to inform the customer support and sales department regarding their reason of return and obtain an authorized returns label from Deepshikha  Books Customer Service (details of quantity, author/title, price and relevant invoice number(s) should be, emailed or mailed).
2.  The Returns Authorization is valid for 20 days from issue and titles not received within 20 days from the Authorization date will be returned at the customer's expense. 
3. A Full credit will only be issued on books that arrive at our warehouse in mint condition.
4.  Books which are returned to Deepshikha Books and info services that were not originally supplied by Deepshikha, are outside of the time limits,
5.  unauthorized returns or books received damaged, will be returned to customers at their expense plus handling charge. Old editions & Out-of Print books will only be accepted for 3 months from invoice date. 
6. There is separate facility for institutions an bulk buyer which they should clarify from the sales department the same will be mentioned on their purchase contract / invoice.

     CLAIMS- Claims for shortage of supply or mis-bound/damaged titles must be submitted within 14 days of the invoice date. 

1   These No Fault Return titles should be returned by normal parcel post or our nominated representative with a copy of the original    invoice, whereupon a replacement copy will be supplied or the account credited (including the return postage charge). 

2   All No Fault Return packages returned to Deepshikha Books must be sent by recorded delivery, no credit will be given for titles that are not received by us, and freight charges will not be credited if titles are not sent by registered Post or without return authorization not or through  our nominated representative of Deeepshikha.  Books will not reimburse the cost of returns that are not "No Fault Returns".
